Hi
I'm sure this may have been said before but it sure would be nice when I buy an item before I click the purchase button to know if the item is transferrable or not.
Some merchants have signs up in their stores and that's wonderful! Some merchants use vendors that when you buy it shows a list of what you are buying and you have the option to buy or cancel.
Other merchants use vendors which just say buy and you fill in the amount of purchase without any chance to know if the item you are buying is transferrable or not.
Why this is a concern to me is if I see something when I'm out that a friend might like I quite often purchase it for them. 99% of the time I haven't been stuck with something I can't use but there has been an occasional oops.. oh well I have a men's suit or shoes I won't be wearing.
I have been fortunate enough to contact the sellers and they rectified the situation, once no charge, once paying for another to be sent to my friend.
Another comment to clothing vendors since you are taking a picture for your box advertising why not enclose it in the box with the item sold. I routinely take a photo of an outfit so that when I'm looking for a particular outfit to wear I'm not playing clothes mannequin for an hour... how many items in my inventory start with purple.. the number astounds me *giggles*
Just a few things which would help make shopping easier.. from a shoppaholic
*hugs*
Ash

I make it a habit for vendors that don't specify or give any clue visually or in text right out front if the item(s) is transferable to hit Ctrl+3 and if required check the 'select individual' and check the contents for the item in question. I then right click the item in the vendors contents and select 'properties' to see what 'Next Owner' permissions might be set to.
Clothing on the other hand which might be boxed seperately can be a little trickier, so it doesn't hurt to IM the person reponsible for the products.
Also a self explanatory notecard dispenser giving a little history on the product(s) is helpful if on or near the vendor or product, and what the permissions might be.

I agree. I don't know how many clothing items that I own that I have no idea what they are anymore. I absolutely love seeing pics of the item in the box or folder. I have been going through my inventory in preparation for a yard sale, and I have been taking pics of me wearing said item and putting them with the outfit just so I know what is what. Talk about a long tedious job geesh.
I'd also like to add another suggestion. I like all the fancy display ads and all but really all I want to see is a front, side and back view of the item, and please display the FULL item in a display. " Yes those are nice pants but since you only show to the midthigh, what does the bottom of the pants look like?" "What does the back of the hair look like" "That's a short skirt, will my J-Lo ass hang out of the back because I can't tell from a frontal pic" These are only a few of the questions I have had before.
In my dream world as a shopper I would like: Full pics of item from all views, pics of item in folder or box, transfer, modify, and a response from the creator within a resonable time frame when I have a question.
