I suppose I've lost much of my trust in the SL client lately, especially after things started disappearing from my inventory, but this morning is even more bizarre than normal.
First, I've lost connection with my client twice in an hour. Everything seems to work just fine for a while, then I'm stuck in typing animation for 10 minutes and finally quit, then can't get back in for a few tries.
That's not all. I noticed too that my avatar dimension settings have changed. All by themselves. My legs are skinnier, my boobs smaller, and I haven't touched them. And a male friend of mine has started to inexplicably gain weight without touching his avatar. Could it be that there are flaws in the asset server system?
*horrified gasp* Say it ain't so! Anyone else notice their avie has put on weight or lost a bunch?

More likely, someone has access to your passwords and is messing with you.
I keep a very close eye on my avatar 'variables', and in 3 years, i've just never seen that happen. Corruptions yes, but orderly changes, no. |

Sorry to hear that Cindy =/ hopefully you had a backup. Recently, I did have a serious problem with Chins on my male shapes line - but it only affected me. was weird but after a transfer it cleared up for others (Serious DUDLY-DO-RIGHT chin problem) the numbers still looked the same though. |

No, it was more subtle than that. I lost about 5 points on my thighs, for example, and a few points on my boobs. Everything else is ok. And I certainly haven't been missing any Linden$ -- I spend them too fast  _____________________

Happened to me this morning as well, but not the people I was with at the time. I haven't noticed any missing loot or improperly proportioned parts, however I have seen some pretty severe ruthing and increased lag the past couple of days. I think it's gremlins. _____________________

Each time was like a lost connection w ith my AV stuck in one place. The SL client is running as if it's connected but it isn't. This has only started happening in the last day or 2. _____________________

Well, lately, ever since one of those attacks we had in the past few weeks, I have crashed out of SL a whole lot more, while building.
I will be applying a texture to something, and everything will just grind to a halt, and the program is no longer responding. This happens 2-3 times a night now, and it never used to happen before. coco _____________________

Nope, it happened to me, also, starting last night. I couldn't stay logged in for more than 20 seconds or so, but the only way I could tell is that my AV would quit responding to directions. At one point I got stuck flying, and have a screenshot of my coorinates as something like 40, -5034, 24!!
I'm also kinda glad to hear that others are getting Ruthified. Friends tell me whenever they see me rezzing into a sim I appear as a woman first. Ugh! Anyone know if there's something I can do to fix that? |

Last week I froze and crashed and when I logged back in I had items in my inventory that I didnt own and a few things I did own where missing.
