Greetings, all.. I very new to this or any other vertual world. I see a job apucaton in this world is it for real?? Do I put my real life info on it or just my "make" up life for this world?? Is there a place to go for all us real new people to learn how to get around.. thks L..... ps.sorry for bad spelling.

There are a lot of fantastic answers our Residents can provide to this. A warm welcome to Second Life, Ladysteels!

Inshort: don't give out any real personal info unless you're absolutely safe and comfortable. Most job applications in Second Life are for SL-specific jobs that don't require that info, unless you're doing "mixed reality" business, for example.

If you are talking about the "Linden Lab is now hiring" in the message of the day (when you log in). those are real jobs, and can be applied for at lindenlab.com

Otherwise, never, ever give out real-world information to a job posting in SL. In fact, you probably should stray away from giving out personal infomation to pretty much anyone you dont really, really trust.

Speaking of those Linden Lab jobs, how much response have they got so far? I'd imagine it's pretty much a dream job for most people who are in SL.

"what are you wearing" isnt a legitimate interview question either ^.^
