While we sit anf wait for it to come back... this is what I like about SL (focusing on the positive)

and yes I am a newb so yeah anyway...

I like that there doesn't seem to be many kids (if any) playing SL
i have encountered very few griefers
I am 41 and have found that many places I go to are playing the music I like (prolly cuz a lot of ppl are around my age heh)
I can look however I wish

I only have a bad hair day when I put a box on my head

on the premium account I can buy and sell land, on the free one I could rent if I wished which I did heh (Then went premium) and became a shopaholic hehehe

I can wear high heels and it doesn't hurt my legs or back
(any prim shoe persons out there with reasonable prices feel free to pm me)

screwing up is expected from newbies
questions are answered people are helpful

and my interactions with a few mentors and some lindens have been awesome experiences
(just wish I could remember all their names) :(

so to all you mentors and lindens out there, that helped this poor lost little newb (I kept getting bumped off of the beginners island, and they put me back)

I thank you and regret not making the friend connection with you so I could keep in touch

the names may be forgotten but the experience is not... (one guy scared the bejesses out of me, he turned into an ogre bigger... way bigger than me)
I had no idea one could do that

Why would you want to wear high heels in Second Life? :)

1) people are friendly
2) people are willing to answer any questions without making you feel stupid
3) you dont have to green your av like you do in tso
4) the shelter is a fun place for newbs :D

If there are any kids playing, they are violating the terms of service. Must be 18 to play, and all that. Or did you mean early 20's as kids? In that case, we're here, you just haven't noticed ;)

Anyway, I love the idea of a game fueled by user-created content. I view the scripting language as a challenge, though, like trying to dig a pit with a spoon ;-) The limitless possibilities created by allowing the users to make the game. That's the reason I play.

Oh, and there's a native Linux client. That's the reason I *started* playing. :)
