TP Timeouts

Over the past few days (past week) I've noticed that it takes me at least three tries (often more) to teleport. Anyone know whats going on? It has started all of a sudden for me.

It seems to be asset server congestion.

the 1.9 release on Wednesday includes a significantly changed teleport mechanism that works directly sim-sim and doesn't involve saving your state to the asset server and restoring it again on the new sim. It's much much faster, and won't lead to the same lag issues.

Looks right in time as well... just as things are heating up.

This happened to me earlier too.

Enki, in the meantime, you can give Preview 1.9 a spin. Attach a whole buncha stuff and TP around. Granted, it's pretty empty there, but it's worth a go.
