After seeing the 4 billion posts regarding the banline debate, I thought it would be interesting to see some numbers. Take the poll, post your thoughts.

Not happy about Linden Labs purchase of XStreet (formerly SLX) and OnRez. Will this mean LL will ban resident run online shoping outlets in favor of their own?

I am for increased banlines. Not so much for privacy reasons, but rather to keep griefers out of chat/shout range, and to prevent them from dropping things on my visitors. ;)

I wonder if increased height of banlines reduces the value of land? I've certainly rejected a few parcels this week *specifically* due to the sheer quantity of banlines making the surrounding land difficult to navigate. Never mind what they do to the view. Or to vehicles you may want to use.

Personally, I haven't had an issue yet. For my properties, I only use the "blacklist" feature to keep certain people out (griefers), so unless someone causes an issue on my property, anyone can pass through unharmed. :D

i was told there was to be pie in this thread

the original implimentation of 250 height bans for all was kinda ok, but bugged me lst night when i was trying to fly around in a hot air balloon. i think today's fix makes life happy for all ^^

You are most welcome :D

I did reduce the size of the pie due to side scrolling. ;) It was a little obnoxious

I agree... though I do think the original height was sort of a joke. 200m is a bit of a stretch though. :)
