Sounds like fun. Good luck.

What ever they want to discuss and showing them anything they want to see. I want to show them the incredible talent that is here. Land. Economy, Building, Scripting, Designs,, etc. Showing them the cultures that live and thrive. They would like to explore everything. Even the darker side of SL.

That's great Tya! Good luck. It should be a fun experience. In response to your poll I couldn't really pick just one. I play SL first because of the creative outlet, second because of the great people I've met, and third because it helps me pay RL bills. In that order. I'm not really a roleplayer, and even though I love escapism (books and movies) SL isn't really escapist for me. It's more like an extension of my real life. If I had to boil it down I'd say it's both a creative and social outlet that enhances my life rather than helps me escape from it. Have fun with the interview. Look forward to hearing it

I agree with Chip in that I don’t role-play either. Billy is an extension of the real me and brings real emotions and real feelings with him. Why do I play SL? I initially played SL because here I am completely free to be myself and explore different aspects of my personality. I now play because of the wonderful friends I have here that I love and adore. Yes, I play for other reasons too, most of which you have listed. SL is somewhat an escape from RL free (most of the time) of RL pressures and expectations. SL is a place that can certainly be a creative outlet whether you are talking about exploring your artistic side or playing a role in developing a new virtual economy. Yes, I have been fortunate to have made real money in SL and it is interesting and fun to discover ways to prosper in this environment. I also play SL because… well… it is fun and it continues to amaze me how imaginative and creative people can be.

First of all, congrats on the interview, Tya. You must be excited. Thanks for representing SL for us. I don't know if you heard Chip's interview on NPR a couple weeks ago, but it was awesome. Hopefully yours will go equally well.
Anyway, speaking of Chip, his comments here are nearly identical to what mine would be. I can't just pick one item on your poll. Like Chip, I'd have to go with Creative Outlet, Friendships, & To Make RL Money.
SL for me is first and foremost a creative outlet, but its real addictive power I think comes from the fact that creative interaction and social interaction are so heavily intertwined in it. As a digital artist, I can build 3D models that are visually far superior to those in SL using programs like Maya, but the process is a lonely one, just me, myself, and I. In SL the fact that thousands of people can see and interact with the work more than makes up for the fact that the work itself is relatively primitive. The instant gratification from seeing people enjoy your work is incredibly addictive.
As for friendships, it occured to me recently that I'm now at the point where my SL friendships outnumber my RL ones, and that really blows my mind. Who would have ever thought even just a few years ago that it would be possible to say "Most of my friends are people I've never actually met." What an insane concept, but there it is.
As for the other choices on your list, for me those range from definite no to maybe. Sex is one definite no's. While I can respect that there must be something to cybersex since clearly a lot of people are into it, I don't think I'll ever understand what that something is. I can't get turned on by polygons, and typing definitely turns me off. "Escape My RL" is also probably a no, although that's kind of a gray area, I guess. Like Chip, I think of SL as kind of an enhancement of my RL, but there are certainly times when SL ends up becoming an excuse to put off unpleasent tasks in RL. "Test Market RL Products" isn't something I think SL can really do for me, at least not in its present state of technology.
I think that covers everything. Hope it helps.

Is anyone planning to record this and post it someplace for all of us to enjoy?
Everyone has covered anything I would have thought to mention.
Good luck Tya, not that you need luck, you are so very talented. If you haven't seen Tya's Sim it's definately something you need to slip on your,"To explore list".

Sounds like a great idea. I am an actual radio talent here in the US and know the power of Radio. However, Are you only planning on showing the good and avoiding the bad? Doing so would be reflective of the War on Terror. Report it all or don't report any of it.
Good luck with your interview.
