Does anything like a product review magazine (or web site) for SL exist? I'm thinking something where the editor collects all (or many) example products from a particular catgeory (like airplanes, radios, animation overriders, slot machines) where it's not clear-cut how something would work. Clothes don't really apply, as you either like them or you don't. But for the more complicated objects this would be very beneficial. Demos can be great, but often it's hard to really test thoroughly for your particular circumstances.

If you could do a good enough job convincing the community that no bias is involved in the rating process, I think an SL version of Consumer Reports would be a great idea.

I also don't think clothing would necessarily be excluded. You can't rate subjective factors ("I don't like yellow" or "it's not slutty enough";) but you CAN review technical details such as how well seams line up.

Great idea. Get to work Lora. :D

I don't suppose there is a product review site or publication by now, is there?

We periodically run a product review column in the Messenger.
