Are there specific people at LL who work the abuse staff or is it a task that gets done by various people as workload indicates or what?
If there is a fixed set of abuse staff people who are they?
I ask here instead of in SL Answers because Robin has plenty of things to do more pressing than answering this question and a user might well know this already.

Michael is an excellent arbirator. He's patient and kind-hearted but willing to pack a Linden whallop when necessary to the process. Plus you can see him from three sims away which is really cool when the place is crowded.
To answer your question, If any Lindens are permanent members of an "Abuse Team," I seriously doubt they'd tell us who they were because we'd start emailing them rather than filing reports.
If you seriously feel like abuse reports and hotline posts have been ignored, email Robin. She gets loads of emails so can't handle everything directly. But she will, at the very least, acknowledge with a reply and forward your request directly to someone that will communicate with you directly.

My guess is that it would be like the opposite of "employee-of-the-week". I've often wondered similarly if the people who have to drive the continually beep-beep-beeping golf carts inside airports get that job as a form of reprimand.

I do recall the name Michael, from email responses.
The name Michael could just be the name used by whoever lost the employee of the week contest.
Khamon is probably right that giving out more info than the system already does about who works the abuse positions might not be such a good idea from the company's viewpoint.
I am not having any problems with the abuse staff, just curious about how things work in the headquarters.
I suspect there'd be a few users interested in more detail about the LLHQ, like a floor plan that shows who get the good offices and who gets the bad ones, who sits next to who, and complete descriptions of official job descriptions, etc.
Also office romances and what the crew is doing in their off time as well. All sorts of nosy stuff that is none of our business at all. What kind of car they drive.
A list of who is on each employee's speed dial system would probably interest some users.
My question about the abuse staff I guess is based on feeling kind of silly about referring to "the abuse staff" when I don't know that there is a distinct "abuse staff".
