I purchased some land last night before the grid attack. The money was taken and paid to the seller as it should be, however, due to the sim rollback because of the grid crash last night, the land was reverted to the seller!
Double check any land purchases you made last night. This is going to be a frickin' nightmare for a lot of people.
Regards,
-Flip

Best check all your scripts too. I've had an elevator script on my land for over 6 months that has worked flawlessly the whole time, but today it's giving me a Stack error whenever I try to use it. My main means of transport between my studio in the sky and my ground floor is now nonfunctional. "Script runtime error. Stack heap collision." I tried taking up the elevator stations and replacing them but the same thing happens. Feels like LL turned off something in LSL maybe? The jerk who is responsible for all of this deserves to be turned loose to a rabid mob of avatars and ripped limb from limb.

Regards, -Flip Ayup, this happened to me in the last attack, I paid a guy 12k for some land, then the grid crashed, was rolled back, and when I got back in, the land had reverted to him, but the $$ hadn't reverted to me. Then the lowlife tried to sell me the same parcel again, for 14k! I made LL aware of the issue, and oh my, they haven't fixed it yet. Go figure.

Lindens turned off all scripts grid wide lastnight, this may have something to do with it

To be more on-topic, Braunworth experienced at least one rollback today just a few minutes ago (and I think it's been restarted twice since I've been on). If this is happening elsewhere also (my guess is that it is, given the general instability of SL after yesterday's attack) people still might want to wait a while before buying land.

Nolan, I'd like an IM with the name too. A few of my friends are in the market for land right now - no sense in letting this guy benefit from your misfortune.

Regards,
-Flip This is bad if someone came to me with a claim for land purchased last night I'd have to turn them down. There is no way I could verify if a particular individual bought a plot and it rolled back or if they were just trying to exploit a situation. And I don't think LL would check records and send me any verification of the individual's claim. When LL does a grid wide rollback why don't they roll back everything instead of just the sims?

You should be able to see land sales and purchases in your transaction history? Or look for payments into your group? Regards, -Flip

Regards,
-Flip My land is group owned and i sell multiple properties per day I don't know any location where it's itemized or where it says who made the payment. If you came to me and said I bought x land I don't know a way to verify that. Accounting info for groups is miserable. The only thing I could think of would be to say call LL and get them to IM me or send an email verifying the transaction. And something tells me LL would simply say your screwed.(and of course direct you to me)
