At the risk of being mobbed by the hordes of "OMG how can you not know this..."

What are FIC and SIC? I hear a lot about them and I know they have something to do with when one joined SL but thats about it.

No tomatoes (or pies) please

FIC is Fated Inner Core, which is meant to mean the people who joined SL when it first started, and means they get more attention than people who joined later on.

It was started a while back by a member whose no longer allowed to post in general.

Its mainly thought of as a joke now..

As for SIC, I'm not sure, its probably some sort of parody on it

(And I had to ask at the time)

My definition of FIC, which was a term coined by Prokofy Neva:
F.I.C.: Stands for Feted Inner Core.

Meaning: A group of people who, due to their closeness to the Lindens (for whatever reasons, and for however long), receive special perks, privileges, and projects.

Solution: Processes through which everyone has equal opportunity to be considered for those perks, privileges, and projects.

The whole thing was hashed out again a page back.

Prok has also come up with the term SIC, which means Superior Inner Core, to describe those of the FIC who are quieter, but are actually more competant and get more done, have more power, and contract with more outside businesses and organizations that they work with within SL.
