Request to manage burning life. (As posted on lindens forums.)

(Note: I know SL is doing a Burning Life Event. i would just like to make it better for SL residents)

(Also Note: I posted this on the linden forum for purpose of geting the attention of somone from linden labs to maby atleast take a look at what could become of the burning life event)

Hello I would like to ask everyone for support on a plan to expand the relations of burning life event within second life. From last years event as you all know the lindens weren’t to into the event and left it to us to handle it. This year I would like to propose a request to allow my group to manage the event. Bellow is a layout of the event.

Layout

As you notice it’s similar to the one in real life but with a few changes to make is friendly to the users in second life. Here are a few main topics that make having my group manage the event valuable.

-Yellow signs on each section and row to make finding a plot more ease

-In game camp registration so that people who want to build can build. All camps, theme camps, & art installs need prior approval to make sure the content is properly rated and to make sure they don’t already have a plot at the event. “The registers will say pending approval.”

-PG & M will be slit off from the middle. Example: Left side of the event mature, right side PG.

-2 public event plazas for anyone to do a event when they want & a center camp for events that are pre registered.

-Automated burning of the man. Most know me from last year for have the arms go up and having the man fall down in peaces to simulate burning wood. I would like to expand on that and make it a lot more realistic if this proposal is approved.

-66 Camps for people who would like to build a camp or medium art install.

-12 theme camps for people who would like to build a large theme camp or art install.

-A sim worth of small art install for people who would like to make a small art display.

-Group Monitoring of content & layout to preserve event plan & control.

-Automated people to help serve the community find there way around the event. (Non player characters would play this role. All scripted and respond to touches and chat.)

-A push to get more advertising of events. I would like to see more attend this event and be less confused like last years burn.

-Everything would be as close as you can get in SL to the real life event while still making it a event made for SL residents.

-This would be made up of 9 sims total for the event

I and my team come up with ideas everyday so this is only half of what you would expect at the event. Below are some articles of my past at Burning Life and some photos in the articles to prove I would be a good candidate to have my group manage this event.

Awsome Idea!!

although i have never been to a burning man event in RL it seems like a nice idea... an outlet for artists to get some exposure.

Although people need to abide by the content rating zones though =) .. i read about last years Fallis incident... did you know in ancient times fallises were used to ward of evil spirits?? what has happened to society since then i duno... *looks around*

i would be very interested in helping with this event.

I thought all of Second Life every day was just an elaborate Burning Man event.

lol

Just finished scripting the devices for the camp management so if they did accept we wouldent be in a rush.
