Is there anyplace a person can go to practice shooting guns, or shooting at each other without being reported? Why is there guns if you are not allowed to shot them anywhere? I think a there should be a place that people who like shooting could go to without being reported for just shooting a gun.

If anybody knows of a place could you let me know please?

Thank you.

search for:
Sandbox - Weapons testing
Combat(Sandbox) - Red Team's HQ
Combat(Sandbox) - Raush
Combat(Sandbox) - Blue Team's HQ

Warning: SL is not a FPS, the standard sl combat is not balanced, instant kills are the norm.

If you are looking for a more fun way to shoot, have some rules and don't hit innocent bystanders, go looking for a combat system like Frag-Foo.

In your First Life, you may own guns depending on where you live, but you can't legally go around shooting people at will. The same thing applies to Second Life. After all this is not a RPG or a first person shooter.

Jessie is stilll a damage enabled area isn't it? You can shoot and get shot back and get teleported home and no one can complain?

Yea, Jessie is still Damage Enabled. I go there once in a while just to monkey around. Even managed to kill myself just so I could see what happens. eh. No biggie. But what a weird, jumbled mass of builds it is. I like it!

Hee hee, I went to Jessie during that post and stopped paying attention to the SL screen - someone shot me dead while I was innocently floating in air.

Other times I have gone to Jessie doing the Nyah-Nyah gesure for twenty minutes looking for someone to rile up enough to shoot me and couldn't even get killed.

That makes me sad. :(

Maybe we should force the Jessie resis to maintain a malevolent presence there at all times. It's a perfect place for all those people wishing to patrol places. They can march around and blast people, the way Jessie aught to be.

Thank you all for your quick answers I will try them all out. Jessie sounds like fun thanks again !

I wouldn't go to Rausch if you're not familiar with SL "combat". You'll be wandering around, wondering what people are doing, it all looks quite normal and a bit empty and then suddenly *whooosh* *ting* and you're back home. You teleport back and *whooosh* *ting*. Then maybe the time after that you suddenly find that you're in space, or maybe somebody sets up an autogun underneath your landmark.

Yeah. Not what I call 'combat'.
More like 'jerks with toys'.
