Hi I am hopeing to get feedback on if anyone knows what happens when you share your computer with a Teen Grid person?

I have a niece who wants to try SL - TG but can only do so when visiting cause she doesnt have cable or dsl. But I dont want a problem with my account on my computer once she registers on the TG.

With all that is happening with this new non info registration & new computer hash "finger printing"...:/ I need to make sure that there will be no changes in my ability to still get into my account and the MG to conduct business.

Can anyone that has a teen on the TG and who has their own account on the MG on the same computer let me know what to expect if anything please? Thanks

Sign her up on main grid.. apparently LL (or associates) doesn't care anymore.

Zazas, you better ask a Linden. Call them up on their phone access line.

Hi Zazas

It's great! My two grandsons play sl on my pc whenever they visit, about twice a week. They use the same client that I do but access it from their own home screens (XP).

The login system know which grid to pick from their login details. I just do not enable auto password on my page and it does not affect me at all.

Sometimes the boys use both my laptop and my desktop when they play together.

My daughter has been on the teen grid on my 'puter...granted only once thus far but I don't see why there would be a problem and didn't anticipate one when I signed her up.

I read that link. So she was going to be 18 in a week anyway, which is why it didn't seem to be an overwhelming emergency. Okay, technically, I suppose, from the most anal perspective, it's a huge issue, but you'll have to pardon me while that example at least fails to make me gasp with horror.

She claims she falsified her b'day in order to get into the adult grid. How are we to trust, just based on her word alone that she's going to be 18 in 1 week? I think the fact that she admitted to having put a different b'day should have warning bells going all through LL.

She could be 14 for all we know. But based on prior evidence of falsified b'day I would hope LL would at least investigate her before accepting her claim that she's going to be 18 in a week.

Regardless, she is a minor at least in the US and according to LL rules till her 18th b'day, and anyone caught having any improper activities with her during that time could be prosecuted for the full extent the law allows with regard to minor vs adult interaction.
