Anyone who has been to the sandbox lately knows the situation. That endlessly droning tune. "Drink banana juice!"

Where the hell is it coming from?

Well, I've found it. What the person responsible is doing, is making very tiny spheres set on the ground and sometimes camoflauged against the ground. They are very hard to see! These are the source of the music. There may be as many as 15 of them on the map at one time. Or as little as 1, if you're lucky.

The person responsible is also using a much more obvious tactic of following people around playing the sound.

He has been abuse reported numerous times and nothing has been done.

Please, will the Lindens do something about this?

lets not forget the person(s) (I dont know who they are, and I hear that Im not supposed to say anyhow... for.. some... reason) who are making cans with toothpicks in them, with physics, and turning them upside down (for the record, they have pictures of bananas on them... coincidence?)

Aside from the obvious high annoyance factor....for us simple-minded folks, please explain how this is a TOS violation?

Abuse of Sandbox Resources probably. There are quite a few of those in the police blotter. People leave builds around designed to annoy people.

There's also Community Standards: Disturbing the Peace, Scripted Objects.

It's not entierly in TOS but its in the community standas wich follow closely to TOS, item #6 in case you want to check it out personaly

Disturbing the Peace
Every Resident has a right to live their Second Life. Disrupting scheduled events, repeated transmission of undesired advertising content, the use of repetitive sounds, following or self-spawning items, or other objects that intentionally slow server performance or inhibit another Resident's ability to enjoy Second Life are examples of Disturbing the Peace.
