It seems to me lately that Second Life is only open 6 days a week now.

Every single Wednesday they are doing an update now?? This is silly to me.

Not to mention that around 2pm PST there is some major problem with the update and SL has to go down again until 7-ish and the big nasty bugs that surface with each update.

I too want a bigger and better SL and some of the features added are absolutly awesome but how come these can't all be packaged into one version and updated less frequently?

Does this bug anyone else?

Oh noes! Linden Labs is addressing problems and attempting to take care of the servers as well as occassionally update functionality and fix bugs, whatEVER will we do!?

Given that these updates for the last few weeks have been fixing exploits on top of other issues (and sadly introduced some with one unfortunate patch)... I'm willing to take the single morning of downtime and the risk of further problems just on some of the holes that they've patched, alone.

I think you have a license to cope.

SL used to have updates all the time like this. I got scared when they only did them once a month or if there was an emergency. Deal with it. You aren't the only one who is out of game. geez
