From: Jillian Callahan We need some clarity about the TOS... Given: Some random resident has a scripted object that uses a sensor to detect agents and then deliver to that agent... well, anything. Namely a notecard with advertising.
Also given that this is script does not limit itself to said random resident's own land, and neighbors and visitors to said neighbors are daily, occasionally more often, handed this notecard.
Does this, as it would seem to, violate the TOS?
If not, why the heck not?
If so, why is it allowed to happen so often on the mainland, with an odd sort of sometimes-it-is sometimes-it-is-not thing from the liasons? OK see the more i analized this the more im thinking its not so much something done on purposly but rather they have it set within a certain range (can only go up to 96m same as shout) and the thing is there is no control to "limit scripts to parcel" this would be something handy for LL to develop and mabye you should push a bit more for it as i highly doubt most of the occurences you ran into it purposly meant to trade on your land with their scripting/notecards . Mabye also a "limit chat to parcel" system.

"analyzed".... I normally don't correct spelling because it can be rude, but in that case, it could lead to a series of unfortunate puns.

if they run a business and people come there they have a right to to a degree. And alot of objects that do such things arnt actually made by the residents using them but rather bought. Mabye bad scripting on the part of the person that made it if it exists already. And Frans what im saying is if it limited to the parcel and its a business thats up to them its their land a club tossing out a rules note or something when someone's tp's in etc and if they bought the thing to do it quite often the scripting is just there sadly =/. And im not saying they should spam other plots just because they dont have the right tool but can see how it can be a accidental on their part more often then not.
