I was kinda blech about the moon too, and the moon is usually my fave in SL.  But the sun was fun.

I remember last year, logging on to a huge pink heart that looked like it was in the middle of the sim and the reflection was all over the land, for a while I was convinced we were being griefed! I then I realised we were !  |

Am I missing something? They seem to change occasionaly. The moon used to say "Private Island" and the sun used to say... um... "Will you be my uuid" or something like that.

LL really needs to let us 'Rent The Sun For A Day' for a moderate fee.
I'm just sayin'. And make the sun clickable for either URL or Landmark

cynical ... moi ? Hey, with competition heating up in the MMOG world (I keep hearing rumors of a competitor to SL emerging this year, but can't confirm it), do LL's recent, somewhat desperate and crass guerilla marketing techniques really surprise anybody? It is a business, after all.
