Community works projects...

Hi all... I originally posted this question to Hamlet Linden but didn't get a response as his forum thread appears to be generally abandoned now... Anyways...

I'm a resident on the sim Areumdeuli and a number of us here have started a community works project to build a creek across a number of our properties. Are there other community works projects like this in SL that you are aware of? I would like to see what others are doing... not just projects built by one or two people which is what alot of what I find seems to be.

Great idea, nice to see community projects are still around.

Check out Taber, Boardman and all the city sims( Grignano, Miramare, Sistiana and Barcola). Many of the residents of those sim decided to build "in theme" and the results are pretty nice.

And now we have neighborhood associations cropping up in places like Blumfield, Westhaven and Shermerville.

This is a wonderful idea!
