I am at work so I cannot actaully connect yet, but I just downloaded the new client and it appears to have broken the "run-in-a-window" setting. My laptop is not so fast and has a smallish display, so I always run SL full-screen and with nothing else running. I can't run any other programs at the same time anyway so why tempt myself? I installed the update fine, but when I restarted the client it comes up in a window even though the "run-in-a-window" box is still unchecked. I toggled it back and forth a bit and tried different resolution settings, but no matter what you do with those checkboxes, it still comes up in a window. There is the possibility that once actually connected it will fix itself I suppose, but anyone have an idea if there is an *.ini file anywhere to fix this in case it doesn't? I don't like being permanently in window mode at all, the screen is only 12" as it is.

I think it fixes itself. I run it the way you do, for all the same reasons, and I checked in earlier today, and once past the log-in, it looked just like it always does - full-screen. coco

That's a new thing - it doesn't go fullscreen until after login so that firewall popups can be dealt with.

Yes, it is deliberate so that any popups can be seen. It will go fullscreen on login.
