Although my instincts tell me that the answer is probably no, based upon how bad this update has been, but is there a way to take a new snapshot without exiting out of the snapshot screen altogether and clicking Snapshot again? In the previous version, once the preview came up, you could keep clicking snapshot until you captured exactly what you wanted. I often take pictures of people dancing or other things, where I may have to take 10 snapshots in rapid succession before getting the right picture. This was trivially easy before - yet in 1.11, I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

All Update Snapshot does is update the currently frozen image with the new resolution/quality settings. It seems the put all kinds of work into the whole Matrix-like ability to zoom and rotate the frozen snapshot to see it from different angles, but that is completely gratuitous if you can't even just take another damn snapshot (and don't get me started on how ridiculously nauseating the drop effect is). When you are taking snapshots now, the Snapshot button disappears, so that is not an option either. Please tell me I am just missing something and there is a quick way to update the picture with a new image. If there isn't, then this is an even further step backward in usability than I thought.

Well Cristiano, I can get a second Ctrl-Shift-S to cause a flash only after rotating the scene and before it finishes a fresh flash/drop-off animation. If you notice the mousepointer changes it seems we are stuck in Matrix-cam until we decide to close the snapshot palette, which can't be done with ESC.

Short answer would seem to be no. The only remaining viable option is the straight snapshot to disk with no preview, let you sort it out at the file-system level.
