Key binding help

((I posted this in the questions forum before reading the "read this first" file and realize that it was the wrong place))

total newb here -- sorry if this is the wrong place and please tell me if there's a better one
-- have only played a tiny bit but a thing that bugs me is the default keybindings in SL and I would really like to change them to match what I use in other games.

I haven't found a way to do this though. I expect there is one, since there pretty much always is!

Can anyone help me or direct me to a place where I can learn how to do it?

as far as I am aware it isn't possible. You use the arrow keys to move around. If the chat bar is closed you can use WSAD.
Tap Page Up to jump too.
Ctrl+R toggles Run on and off.

In the folder where your SL client is installed.

Open sub-folder named "app_settings" and from there, a file named "keys.ini" (can be loaded into and edited with notepad or similar text editor)

keep in mind any new client version that you install will overwrite that file, returning you to default key bindings.
