How have you changed from starting SL to your present avatar look?

Well, At first i looked like an idiot retarded newb who looked like something similiar to the hunchback.

Now? I look like a Noob who looks like something similiar to a hunchback

I was lucky enough to learn of cat avatars my second day in SL Since then, I only take it off for Halloween and to masquerade as a tiny

Also my second day, I discovered Abbott's, and got a flight jacket and a plane... Had quite a bit of fun flying around even with the lag, so I created a back story for the cat (he was a pilot cat, possibly from another universe or something).

After I decided it was too laggy for regular flying, I ended up just dressing and acting like I do in RL (minus the human look).

My first day I made the longest hair I could and wore wings and flaming hands. I also was a pooferholic.
Pretty much I kept that look for the first year or so (I was a very casual player).
Now I thank the SL gods for skins and shapes.

I currently still use the shape I made myself the first day. I have a main skin I use for every non-special look with the same hair (both good quality professionally created). I have a skin and several hairs that I use for Goth/Goth Lolita and similar stuff and another skin/hair set for my succubus look.

I feel oddly uncomfortable if I stray from what has become "my" looks. I somehow don't feel like myself.

Khamon was human for the first two weeks.Then he turned into a little green sprite and hasn't changed since. I tell a lie, he has recently sprouted wings.

It still confuses me when people change their avs like a day's worth of clothing. For all the talk of community, I have a hard time feeling at home in a crowd of people I know I know, but can't recognize on sight.

My first look had my skin so dark I look at it now and think Whoa what was I thinking!!
Finally someone was nice enough to point out my pigments were a little much lol

With a lighter skin and default bright red hair * a sentimental tribute to a wonderful friend* I stayed that way for over a year.. until eventually I caved in and got a new skin and ...prim hair and the look I have currently

Ive been a tiny purple bunny and a fury wolf on occasion but for the most part.. just human.


Khamon I remember hanging out in mesede with you and Braddie and Rysidian! with your green skin their red and blue hair! what a colorful group of fun we were!!!

i've bought sooooooooooo many shapes its not even funny, but i finally found one that allowed me to make changes to it. Yippie!!!!! But I still dont' think I am done messing around, now i just need to find a skin that will let me make changes on the make up

I went from the newbie av, to a better looking male av, to a goblin, to an amish alien leprachaun mob boss, to a cherub. Reincarnation can be a bitch.

I spent little over ten minutes on SL as a human, then l was so lucky that two very sweet furries chipped in and bought me a Luskwood Fox AV (the first version)

I have been finetuning my shape and look since then, and still make some minor changes every once in a while. a.o. my hair colour, length, body shape in total, and of course all little details that I added like custom fur colourings, including the fox paw tattoo on my left chest, that I also have IRL. (couldn't go without that one ^^)

for now, I think I'm about done customizing, untill I think of something else to add or edit...
Earrings and other piercings aren't my thing really, and I don't thik I'll add more tattoos either. The foxpaw is cute, but aside from that one, tats aren't my thing either. (exspecially in RL, it hurts waaay to much. Yup, I'm a sissy.)

i bought myself a female Lusk fox AV in the same colour a few months ago, purely for the use of the head texture with the eyes.... As a girlieboy, long eyelashes were the last thing missing. Now, all I do is shop for more smexy outfits =^.^=

It took me about a week to get a look that suited me when I first got serious about customizing my avie. I was much shorter and curvier than I am now, with a similarly pale (but friendlier-looking) skin. My character evolved into someone more dominant and serious, so I shed some pounds, grew a foot-and-a-half, and obtained a more sultry looking skin.

I ought to change my forum avie, actually... as I write this it features my current shape but my old skin. (Firing up photoshop now...)

Hmm.. Well I started with a Werehouse hyena AV. But I didn't really like it. So I switched to one of Evangeline's hyena AVs.. I've been tweaking it ever since...

never once inmy lil SL existence payed for a shape.. its lazyness.. but I started as a blue winged eejit and now I look like a uh.. load of old bollox I guess ; ;

I have pretty much the same shape and face since day one, but a nice new skin (although I'm still looking for the "perfect" one, whatever that is).

Most of the time I look like me, i.e. my regular human avatar, but have on occasion been an Imperial Stormtrooper, an Andorian from "Star Trek", a Star-Bellied Sneetch and a "Mars Attacks!" Martian. (Yaaak yak yak! Don't run! We are your friends! We come in peace! YAKYAK YAAAK YAK!"

My shape is pretty much the same. A few tweaks here and there every so often. I have a few different looks though (usually with the same shape). I'm usually running around as a redhead with freckles!

Default human shape -> Furfree black housecat avatar -> ExtroVirtual tiny red dragon -> self-made tiny Charmander avatar/Charmeleon avatar -> Gecko. o.o

I dun plan on changing anymore, I think I have found myself.

My shape doesn't change, nor do my wings.. but skin color, tattoos, hair shape and color all change on a random scale measured in minutes.. *grins* Each day has a difference color mood, so some days I'm green, or blue, or red, or pink, or violet.. it just varies.

Once in a great while I might become a squirrel - but that's only when I need to visit the Gorean islands...

Still basically the same shape: tall skinny elf with pointy ears and red hair. Only now I have shiny-flexi-prim-hair (still red) and a photo-realistic skin. The red hair and pointy ears will never change, and I've no real interest in having different shapes, furry avies or anything like that.

I must have tried on demos of every male skin in the whole damn game. In the end I went with one from Skin Flicks. It was one of the most expensive, but none of the others matched it for quality and I'd happily reccommend them.

Ironically, I don't have an avatar. I'm so busy making them that I'm always wearing whatever I just finished.

I did most of the design of my shape at Orientation, and made the remaining tweaks a couple of days later. I eventually had a custom skin made to match the skin color that I designed at Orientation, because that was the color I wanted to be and I couldn't find a skin anywhere that matched. And I wear Studio Lis makeup now (after trying a couple of other types that I didn't like as well), changing the color from time to time as the whim strikes.

Clothing is another matter altogether. That changes radically from day to day.

At least, all of that is true 90-95% of the time. I will occasionally put on a different skin and/or shape, or a non-human avatar, for special occasions.

Since Wednesday I've noticed that items that I wear on or near my face didn't seem to fit like they used to. I had a few non-busy minutes today so I pulled my head up in edit appearance and I could clearly see that my chin was longer and somewhere I had picked up a 100% chin cleft! How the heck did that happen? Was i suddenly channeling Kirk Douglas? (anyone remember the movie "The Villain"?).
