Had an interesting run in with someone who told me they had been offered money to block my vendors with invisible prims but had a change of mind after they failed to come through with the money. He claimed that they are also planning to go further by getting people and using alts to camp out vendors and abuse customers.
I can believe this is probably true, they were a member of the group belonging to the person who asked them to do this and this person is also known to me as someone who has been up to trouble before by placing chat spys.
I don't know if they'll read this but seriously.. come on, this is Second Life. Acting like some kind of gangster in a virtual world is really, really sad. Instead of intimidated I'm embarassed that someone would do something so lame.

I expected someone might say that but solutions etc are not what the post is about, it's about attitudes.

Not always ...Depends on the owner of the land and what they have it set to.

Yes and there are some very rude people in SL . Heck I was trying to help a newbie the other day when she was bellowing about her skin and hair and could anyone help her..and got told where to shove it . I simply told her welcome to SL , enjoy your stay.

You're going to be even more embarassed when I tell you magazines have done articles about crime in games such as Second Life, including a SL based Mafia.

When I first got some land and set up my shop was excited. One day I come home after being away for a few short hours I log into game. Im looking at my idems and they look funny but I was thinking, hmmm must not be rezing. Nope, some asshole placed invisable prims over each product. Thats when I learned about the autoreturn. I also ended up banning him and everyone in the groups he was in.

I heard about that, it was so sad... a bunch of clueless noobs pretending to be tough... and with no power at all... How I laughed.

Or send me the names and I'll publish them on my website. Bullies are cowards, and never have the b*lls to take on anyone who's going to fight back. If you fail to take action, they'll think they can do it again, to someone else.
