Copyright Infringement & the DMCA

To all those contacting me concerning notice of copyright infringement pursuant to the DMCA, Digital Millennium Copyright Act:

Members have been contacting me with questions about copyright infringment for content created in SL, and for information related to submission of a declaration and demand to cease for copyright infringment pursuant to the DMCA.

Jake and I have helped members with this problem, however, we are both busy and to save time it would help if you would summarize the facts in a note which we will then review and contact you when convenient.

Please take the time to identify with specificity the work or item you believe is subject to your copyright, as well as the work or item that infringes upon the copyright. Please include the IIUD number of the item if applicable.

We also need a list of specific locations in world where the infringing item is being used or sold including sim name and coordinates.

We do not charge for our assistance with this problem, and we do not respond to all requests made for a variety of reasons.

woah! Kudos for helping with this issue at all Kat! It is one that I've been following for ages now (well.. in sl.. hehe).
