Even if you can open it it doesn't say anything except your complaint has been recieved or your complaint has been resolved.

Even if you open it it might as well be blank. :)

Yep not a lot of info in it.

This is all it will say.

A member of my group has this same problem. I'm not sure which platform she uses. I have Gmail and my ARs/Second Life notifications are showing up correctly.

THere is definetely something here for Linden to look at.

I called LL a month or so ago and was told in passing that they're having that problem with Yahoo mail accounts.

If things are working correctly you should not receive a blank response.

I typically get a reponse with a subject line like:
From: someone
[rt.lindenlab.com #XXXXXX Abuse Report Received: Abuse: E:1 P:1 V1.11.0.11 (SimName)[Content] "THE SUMMARY TEXT I ENTERED IN THE AR" RT#XXXXXX

The message body reads:

I think every abuse report should recieve an automatically generated response similar to this.

Hokay, so that's why it's blank. I'm using a Yahoo email. But since it's a fixed response I don't mind it being blank.

I get Torley's emails fine though.

Just ran through my SL replies. Whatever happened occurred between April 19 (has message) and June 29 (blank message). That's a large span of time but that's because I didn't file any AR's in that period.

My guess is it's connected with the change in registration.

I suggest a new auto-response for AR's:

"Your abuse report has been received and is being investigated by the Linden Lab Abuse Team. We'll hunt this asshole down and turn his avatar into a tiny Gorean Furry grimbaby, then lock him in a cage in Torley's attic. Thank you for helping to make Second Life a better place without scum like this!"

If you use yahoo it wont show the message, if you forward the email to another address that is non-yahoo you should be able to read it.

I have this problem too sometimes. Another option is to click the "Save Message Text" link. It will open the e-mail as file.txt.
