Yes, but the doctors say I'll stop seeing them once I am well.

No rock of doom but I've seen a stone of dismay

Yup. They were all over my parcel in Bembecia last night - and all over the neighboorhood as well. Here is a pic of the plot next to mine....

Rocks of Doom

I spoke with one of the Avs listed as creator on these objects. They claimed that it was a mistake - a physics experiment gone wrong. Although with a name like Rocks of Doom, it makes me wonder.... ;)

Ahhh I remember those...they were a popular item wayyy back in the 1.4 (or so) days as a griefing tool.

Personally, I'm more affected by 'rock of kidneystones' to worry about it.

Bad.

But not nearly as bad as the Glam Rocks.

Anyone touching one has their avatar hair explode into this huge primmy monstrosity.

I've never seen a Glam Rock myself, but I've seen MANY of its maimed victims...

Could be worse. I just gave away a few modded miniguns that spray special 'foam' prims. You can hose down a sim pretty good with those. Doesn't seem to affect runtime, but it makes it hard for people to get through doors, or move at all. Which is kind of the point.

Turn on the following settings for your parcel and save yourself the grief:
1-No outside scripts,
2-No edit/Create
3-Auto return others' objects in x min. as long as x is not 0.

Enjoy.

Troy

PS. Linden Labs: Do you realize that 0 is less than all positive numbers? Hence setting the autoreturn to 0 makes many new land owners think that the foreign objects will be autoreturned almost immediately. Whereas in your UI design it means nothing will be returned. Please please redo this UI, it is causing much confusion.... STILL after all these years.

If I have to start doing that I guess I'll be tiering down and living in sandboxes again, 'cos the idea that you have to use these kinds of fascist settings just to get along is really disturbing.

I'm afflicted by the prog rock. Absolutely none of them stop functioning until they've been going on at least 7 minutes. Its worse when you get the ones with the jazz flute.
