Still relatively new to SL, there are two things that I'd like to learn how to do:
1) How to play music as a DJ in SL. I have many mp3 files on my PC, & an extensive collection in RL, having DJ'd for years.
2) How to make decent men's hair, or any men's clothes for that matter. IMHO, after shopping for almost two days straight, I've been underwhelemd by the selection & would like to learn how to help fix that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Learning Photoshop or Gimp (these are the 2 I know off top of my head) will help for the clothing side of it. However, there are some great male designers..Crucial Armitage, Doc Eldritch are two off the top of my head and there are others I know but yapping without my first shot of caffiene for the day.

Thanks, Demona. I'll try to find those two people in SL. Any idea where I might easily find them?
Can you import items you already have in SL into Photoshop?

many DJs in SL seem to be using Shoutcast. it is I believe, free.

dj'ing requires a server for you to run your broadcast on. these are not free, so you'll either have to find someone with a server that won't mind letting you run your music on, or pay for your own. shoutcasting isn't hard if you read the directions  but even though shoutcast is free to install and use, you will still need that server access to broadcast to the world. |

I figured DJing would require some kind of special app & server. I'll definitely take a look into that. Thank you all. |
