More Lag...

Has anyone else noticed that almost no area in SL is safe from Lag? Over the past few weeks with upgrades it seems to have gotten worse in clubs, almost anywhere. It kind of ruins the fun of SL... I'd think instead of cute or useless updates, they focus on their network infrastructure and work on reducing lag!!!

I agree with the AO %100. Lag has been getting worse with each update. This afternoon it was nearly impossible for me to play and I just logged of out of frustration. (I have an Uber top of the line high speed business cable connetion and an excellent gaming rig.)

Griefers are chump change. Lag is the real joy and fun killer in SL.

I understand all about how this game's architcture is different from other online games. I have grudingly accepted this as an excuse for very poor game performance that would not be tolerated byany other online gaming community. I have been a haard-core gamer for many years. Suffice it to say that no other online game comes anywhere near the poor performance of this game. It speaks loads of good things about the content of SL that we are willing to put uo with this poor performance cuz we like to play in the SL world so much.

I would very much like to see LL concentrate its near- term future efforts in attempting to reduce as much lag as they possibly can within the stricures of the games coding rather than developing more fluff that most residents apparently have no deisre for.
