So, on the Main Grid, what is the maximum land height? I know stuff goes well above cloud layer.

Who has claim to the "highest point" ? (Points?)

Is there/What is the max difference between the highest point of land and the lowest?

There is no maximum land height, it's relative to a preset baseline height. You can only terraform +/- 4m on most sims. Estates can go up to +/- 100m. There's some older sims with different limits set.
The highest point is the mountain in Tethys, AFAIK.

There's an equally tall mountain on the north continent also, on the north side of Lapara. It's all lush green though, instead of rock. Prettiest part of the north continent, in my opinion.
