I was looking to download a preview version of SL. I have some new clothing and scripts I would like to test without spending lots of L$ but the "Windows 2000/XP installer not found!" on http://secondlife.com/community/preview.php. anyone know where an older preview version is?

That's not the purpose of the preview grid. :/ Last I heard, there's no public preview grid online at the moment because there's nothing in the pipeline to share. _____________________

You can't just download a preview version any time you like. The preview version connects to a completely different grid, which is only available when a new version is ready for public beta testing. Since there isn't one at the moment, there's no preview installer either. |

In that case... is there an application available or in the works, that you could test clothing on without uploading them?

Click file > upload image > select your image and ok In the preview of the image there is a dropdown of various body shapes, select the one you want then you can left click and hold to zoom in and out and move round the shape. _____________________
