There comes times when people throw me IMs with completely useless information. But this one actually scared me. My friend was looking in the Police Blotter, and we found this; Date: Monday, March 6, 2006 Violation: Community Standards: Assault, Scripted Objects Region: Combat (sandbox) - Blue Team's HQ Description: 14 Day Suspension Action taken: Suspended 14 days. I'm not sure if this was a mistake, or if someone was doing something that was completely beyond reason.. but I'm trying to think. What could someone do assault wise that could lead to being suspended, while being in a combat sandbox? Now, I'm not sure whether I should post this in the ask the lindens thread, or here, since I know the Lindens have plenty of things better to do than to explain the TOS. But if anyone has any experience with this at all, well.. I think it'll make a good discussion at the least, and I'm hoping to know what the rules of engagement for Rausch are, because I would prefer not having my account suspended. Yanno, unless it's final time and I need to reinforcement to my studying by removing the alternatives.  |

Perhaps the assault was directed towards a Linden while investigating another issue.
That's a good way to get 2 weeks in the cornfield.

Is it ok to leave a scripted device there to do instant kills automatically when you are not there?
Doing that sort of thing essentially ruins the ability of others to use the combat sims, and might account for a lengthy suspension.

Um. That wasn't about me bringing Blue to a screeching processor stopthink crash, was it? No one was around and I wanted to see how well the Domino script held up when you made several-hundered prim towers out of it. Turns out the upper peices don't quite make it back to their starting point.

I was thinking of making another physics-enabled collapsing tower. I'd have to design this one and script it a little better. Just for lags sake I'd add verbal commands and make linked objects that would break apart mid-air. Make it part of a game, race to be the first to bring down the Tower Of Aw'Hell! You will survive, the losers wont!
If only I could take over a rausch sim long enough to build that damn thing.
