I did this today...on one computer...by accident.

And I have no clue how. I have been trying to do it again but with no success.

Your not supposed to be able to do this, correct? Or am I just way behind on the times...?

Hey Drew, it is possible! Just find the shortcut you use for SL, and right click on it then select properties. Then add a [space]-multiple to the target field so it looks like: "C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -multiple

You have to do this each time it updates, but it will allow you to run any amount of clients. Have fun! :D

There is a way you can do it, if you want to play both your main account and an alt at the same time or something... it runs slow, though. I don't know the details, but it usually has to do with adding something at the end of the SL exe file name... you could probably do a search in the general forum and find it.

Seems I am behind the times...thanks!

I'm positive that what you posted was not what I did. I wonder if there is another way ... I seem to remember just clicking twice on the SL icon from the start menu shortcut because I thought that I didn't click on it the first time, and then having two clients startup. It was weird...

Sometimes I run 2 clients so I can make my boy alts dance the tango with each other.

They don't like it much.
