From: Vares Solvang How do any of them get stars? Once upon a time, we were able to rate threads. That got changed for some reason or other, I forget. Then people were only able to rate New Products threads, but you could not reply in New Products. The ratings system got abused (go figure), so they did away with that too.

Oh resmods cant star a thread anymore? Perfect answer.
I know about resmods starring threads. I thought it was still a (rarely used) feature by choice. I was just wondering why THIS thread got any stars. Its pointless?

It's an old thread, it had stars before the changes went into effect. All threads that had stars before the great Forum shift got to keep them.

Little Boy: Mom, why was nothing said about the other persons that Jesus raised from the dead together with Lazarus? Mom: Oh dear, now were did you learn that there were other persons? It was only Lazarus. Little Boy: But mom, every time I read that verse I cannot help but assume that there were at least four persons. Mom: Now why would you assume something like that? Little Boy: 'Cause Lazarus came forth!

Which Lazarus? Lazarus Long?
"The most preposterous notion that H. sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, without a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expenses of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all history."
That Lazarus?
