open your 'edit' window, then click-drag completely around the area of floor where your furniture is; you should be able to grab onto it that way then drag it back up.

If you go into edit onto the object and hit 'CNTRL-Z', it will move the object to it's last position. If the object found its way there with more than one move, you just hit CONTRL-Z again, and again, until its where you want it.

Get close to the object, then use the camera control to bring your eye level below the floor, then you can select and raise it up

From: Hiro Queso If you go into edit onto the object and hit 'CNTRL-Z', it will move the object to it's last position. How persistent is the undo stack? Does it last forever? Just to make sure, objects each have their own undo redo stacks, right? Unlike the undo redo stack in, say, most word processors, which have one operation stack per file. If you grant modify rights to someone else, can they select an object of yours to edit and press control z and it will undo the stuff you did to the object?

From: Hiro Queso I'm not sure, sorry :/ i have trouble with consistency with undo myself. i try not to depend on it. :\

One time I edited an object I moved a week prior, and it still undid! Other times, it doesn't work at all for an object I just moved.

In my experience the undo buffer vanishes the moment the edit window is closed.
