Are we going to have upgrades every Wednesday form now on? That seems to be the trend, or feels like it to us frustrated non-Americans. If so can we not find a time that is euro Friendly? I know that maintenance is necessary and that the vast majority of resident’s are American, but the second biggest, and arguably fastest growing, market is Europe. 6am to 12 noon SL time is prime time to us in the euro time zone.
If this is going to be a regular occurrence please reconsider your timing.

How did I know we'd get one of these threads today? I had a strange feeling. We were long overdue.

6am to 12 noon SL time is evening for us in the general Australia/ Japan/ Korea timezones.
It would be cool if these updates could be done on a rotating basis.. eg one week US morning.. the next European morning... the next Aus/Japan/Korea morning.

Maybe when you euro's are the majority we'll consider you, but until then...get back in the crate and stop sniveling.

But ummm Linden Lab is in San Diego Cal. USA...they are NOT going to come in at nite to accomodate anyone.
With that being said......
Dear LL could you please consider moving updates from Wednesdays to Thursdays, except for every third Thursday of the month where the following Monday would work better for me. And since I have Yoga from 2-3 most weekdays can you have all that update crap done by the time I get home, aproximately 3:30? Thank you EVER so much.

I think they should change SL's time from PST to EST, it's very inconvenient having to calculate event times to EST all the time.

Just a question

Just a question....Who gives a damn when they fix it? It's a freaking update, be happy about it and move on already. So you're going to have to miss a couple hours...big deal. Seriously.

Just for the record, many Americans find this frustrating too.

Tea should be served with a little milk and sugar, not from the refridgerator!!! Darn colonists, you wait till we take the colonies back. SLT=GMT

If this is going to be a regular occurrence please reconsider your timing. How rude and selfish! Not a though for people living outside Europe or America, just a case of I want it at a time I'M okay with. I'm from Scotland but I understand I'm dealing with an American company in America with American employees.

You know, its frustrating for this stay at home American mom, too. Long and short, I'd expect you will always see the updates during something approximating LLs normal working hours, at an hour when they are fresh, alert and functional. Personally, I'd prefer that to tired, bleary eyed, gosh what am I doing waking up in the middle of the night or gee, I should have been to bed 5 hours ago folks working on an update.
The servers are in California so normal working hours will impact certain areas harder than others, but no matter when they did the updates it would inconvenience people somewhere. I plan things that need doing that I'd otherwise miss SL time over for these update periods. Before Wednesdays, it was Mondays, but same time frame. You learn to work around it.
For me, its a morning's SL productivity building lost, but a morning's FL productivity gained.
