Currently Im waiting for someone to post something on the tech forum that could help me with a lil issue, so Ive been amusing myself with the everlovable forum antics of ya all. Problem is my hmm, ummmmm, errr, ummmm .. roomate kankan thinks my time would be better spent looking for "dependency on SL counseling program."

Tis morning we went to the mall to do a lil shopping.

--When got out the car there was a giant puddle in parking lot from a broken sprinkler head. I subconsciously reached a finger up to hit <page up> so I could fly over it. I palyed it off as was trying wave a mosquito away.

--While there we decided to cruise thru Spencers Gifts; where I decided to embarrass kankan by rubbing a "personal massager" they had on display against her (no not there ya pervert!) When I started to sneak up on her and turned it on.. the battery cap fell off the stupid thing. I murmured something along lines "Stroker woulda never built such a piece of crap."

--While on second floor we saw a group of about 15-20 girls standing around some exibit down on the main floor. kankan asked if I wanted go see what they checking out. My reply without catching what was about to say.. "too many people and hoochie hair.. I dont feel like dealing with the lag." and walked into a empty scented candle store.

--In the end we didnt find what she wanted go shopping for; so when got home I said let me see if can find one on ebay. Didnt find it but somehow while doing web searches I acidently got directed to some page that had picture of a "hello kitty pocketrocket" which ofcourse made me giggle. Then instictivly hit ctrl/alt so I could rotate to the backside of it. gotta hate this freaking 2D computer world


Well anyway, anyone got any projects planned that will offer counseling to help with my problem of SL ways seeming over to my RL? Im lil low on lindens atm but am willing to pay with couple prim sharks Ive been working on, if ya into bartering.

I tend to look at RL houses and think "nice build!" and attempt to figure out the types of prims involved.

I also look at land for sale in RL, and think of how it could be terraformed. My father has a house on the side of a hill, and the plot next to his is for sale. I started thinking "hmm, could probably flatten this out, just about the right size for my prefab."

We have a Golden Corral restaurant being built nearby. As we passed last week, I told the kids that the prims hadn't been textured yet, because just the wooden skeleton of the structure had been built thus far.

And my all time favorite....for me that is.....while taking a break in the ladies room at Walmart I stared at the floor and saw all the Tringo pieces in the floor tiles.

I do the cntr+alt thing while looking at pictures on the web or editing them in PSP all the time.
Dammit, I want to see that from a different angle!

You REALLY know you are addicted when you start getting it on with your significant other in RL and the thought crosses your mind that you are "lightly aroused" LOL

Gee...I always thought the FORUMS were the support group for those with an addiction problem

Classic ROFL, I do this too. I dont think I have actually made any spoken references yet, though I would not be surprised if it happens.

I often see things in RL and immediately begin wondering how I can put a version
of it into SL.

I see absolutely everything in terms of textures. In RL I am a 6'0 husky
heterosexual (only stated for the purpose of the story, lol) but this does not
prevent me from getting lost in thrift stores looking at things that I would'nt
have been caught dead doing a few years ago.
Just the other day I was looking that this little pink snakeskin purse with frills and metalic portions when two hot women walked by, which caused me
to feel a little goofy and self conscious.
Luckily they were looking at me and not what I was holding, haha.

Anyone else try to TP or Fly somewhere & realize "Shit! This is RL"?

My fiance also noticed, as I was showing her the sim Nakama, when I walk thru a doorway with those lil' drapes hanging down, I duck my head while sitting in my chair.

I can quit or give up SL for any amount of time. Yea. Sure. *shivering* Mmmmmm, daddy needs his fix!!!!

For me it's looking at some things iRL and dissecting them in a "how can I make something like it with prims" attitude.

Also been taking pictures of any interesting and usuable texture I see. I got a small stockpile from my recent travel. Won't be uploading until I need them though.
