Invite Into Group option on profile

It seems to me it would be nice to have an "Invite Into Group" option on a person's profile.

You have them picked out, why have to pick them out again on the group menu?

NOOO!! I want an ignore invites option not more way's to get spammed with invites.

They can copy a name from the profile and paste it into the search field in the add new member field in the group dialogs already. Why not just make it easy?

Plus they can already IM you from there - why would it be worse to get an invitation into a group?

There will be times when a person is surrounded by new users and wants to offer them an invitation into a group designed to help new members, like the New Citizen's group.

It would be so much easier to offer this sort of helpful group invitation if you didn't have to manipulate separate menus and cut and paste a bunch of names.

I hearby dub all your past and present posts as both trollish and childish and a waste of time.

A "No invites" option sounds good too.

I see now, you are wanting to not get invites from people who are just looking down the list of names in the Find people dialog.

Well, maybe it could work like the Friends list does, only be available when you are able to click on the person's av.

Personally, I think this should be an option in the pie menu ("Invite to active group" - to discourage people using find->people to spam with invites, and to avoid the extra clicks needed to open and close lots of profile windows.
