Er...

SLexchange.com and SLBoutique.com?

Is that what you're asking?

Hello Isaiah, and welcome to Second Life :)

You are really going to need to rephrase your question as it is not really clear what you are looking for. Are you wanting to sell items on a third-party web site for delivery in world, or are you wanting to run your own site?

wait... You want to START a vendor of SL goods website?

<blinks>

I mean this with no disrespect, but let me put it like this: If you have to ask, then you have no chance of setting such a thing up without several months of VERY intensive training. Perhaps years.

So, the simple answer, if the above IS what you want, is: No. You have to use either of the two mentioned above.

Web Hosting

Well any webhosting service will let you do that but you will need to some major programming to get it to work. There is no premade service you can use that will do that.

Just a thought...It wasn't clear from your post, but if your intention with the website is just to sell your wife's products, she'd probably get better sales and traffic at already established sites. You'd also save on advertising costs, etc. I'd think.

Well, good luck in either case. And welcome to SL!

We have set up SLBoutique so everyone can have their own private area. Every person who signs up gets a dedicated URL they can easily pass out to give access to their Wish List, Items For Sale, and Blog (any combination of the three depending on what they wish to use).

Here's are a few examples:

http://www.SLBoutique.com/FlipperPA_Peregrine/?nh=1
http://www.SLBoutique.com/Torrid_Midnight/?nh=1

After you have initially set up your account, you can create your private color scheme and branding by logging in, going to Account Information, and clicking EDIT STORE next to your avatar's name. Your URL would be:

http://www.SLBoutique.com/Isaiah_Latrell/?nh=1

Welcome, Isaiah! Feel free to PM me with any further questions you might have.
