Why is that there are several groups and clubs oriented around paedophilia fantasies tolerated in Second Life?

Do a group search for the word "scout" and see what comes up:

"Following in the tradition of the original scouting organization founded Robert Baden-Powell, scouting comes to Second Life with the objectives of building character, citizenship, personal and group skills. It is available to all human avatars (gender inclusive) who who have completed the fifth year of grammer school, and are at least 10 years old. The target age includes the 17 year, but older scouts may participate in an adult leadership capacity."

10 years old? 17? Isn't Second Life for 18 and older? And this is for the "BOY SCOUTS" now do a search for CUB Scouts... yes.. UP to 10 years old...

"Cub Scouting includes a variety of fun and exciting activities for boys in the first through fifth grades.

It is a preparatory program of the Boy Scouts of Second Life (BSSL)"

I stopped into "The Vortex" where there was an avitar of a 9ish year old boy who was dancing on the dance floor along with the usual sexually explicit avatars.

The OWNER, [edited]'s profile reads:
"Lighting Hire for your Party. Photo-Artist. Entrepreneur. Club Owner (The Vortex).
A real Gemini, living a Second Life as a 4 foot 2 inch '9 year old' boy. Making new friends of all ages, nationalities and any gender. Intolerant of intolerance. Anti-nazi, anti-rascist. Good/strange and often misunderstood sense of humour. Longing to be loved, adored and cherished. Very sensitive. Caring.
Favourite saying:
"Our ways are fixed and move no more; allow their death and walk away in new country."

RATE ME :))"

9-year-old boy in Second Life? Where is the sim in SL that a 9-year-old boy can hang out appropriately? And of course this 9-year-old boy has a partner name [edited] who is a member of a group called "Kid's Club."

Now, I'm all for sexual exploration and tolerance, and I'm all for kids... but kids and adult sexual exploration are not two things that can be tolerated in the real world or Second Life, in my opinion.

Just like in the real world, I want to be able to explore my world and enjoy my life, but allowing groups of people who have unhealthy and dangerous mentalities when it comes to innocent children, to build safe havens and clubs where they can share their ideas and fantasies and egg each other on to commit real life crimes is something that the Lindens and all of us need to take seriously.

When I went into "The Vortex" and challenged the little child gyrating and dancing like an over-sexed leatherman, I almost threw up. Then I challenged him and the rest of the people in there acting like everything was just fine. I was told I was intolerant.

Are we all so screwed up with the possibilites of a new world of exploration and experimentation that we can't see the reality in front of us when a criminal mind is flaunting his dangerous perversion in front of our very eyes? If so, lock up the children, it is no longer safe in the RW.

It's a tough situation. Some of the kiddie stuff in SL is geared towards letting people explore aspects of childhood that were denied them for one reason or another in their first lives. That's an excellent and legitimate use of the platform.

On the other hand, there's the obvious and disgusting practice of age play, where a sexual thrill is derived by involving children in explicit sexual acts. While I suppose it's better people do that than actually victimize real children, it certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Furthermore, as Second Life goes to the Metaverse, and this becomes an open platform, Linden Lab risks lawsuit in court and [attachment culling] will, I repeat WILL be reverse in court.

Keep in mind its probly an old group becuase at one time the main grid and the teen grid were one in the same. Also alot of people like to role play themselves as children in SL. Probly because it may bring back the feeling of a simpler lifestyle only children can enjoy. Also you may want to stop and think maybe someone created this group for people who are involved in the Boy/Cub Scouts in real life. Yes, it may be hard to think of SL as a place for such PG concepts when there are more mature sims out there with sex clubs all around, but PG areas and groups do exist that involve real world activities.

After reading through your post from what I can see you're jumping the gun and making wild accusations. Does this guy own a club? Yes. Is he involved in a Scout group? Yes. Does that mean the two are combined? Not necissarally.

The man is awake now

So he repeats these words
Over and over again:
Bravery. Kindness. Clarity.
Honesty. Compassion. Generosity.
Bravery. Honesty. Dignity.
Clarity. Kindness. Compassion.
