So I get home from work, log into SL... I gives me the update promp... sure why not, here we go...
5 minutes later I get an error message that my SL Installer appears to be corrupt?
Waht da dilly yo?

maybe the update is ready to be DL'ed yet

Uninstall and reinstall should work ? I have had to do that to update before from the same problem... But no problems this time...YET..*tapping foot waiting for the green light to sign on**

Completely unistall SL from your HD then make sure there is no file/folders left behind by deleting those and reinstall the client from the webpage. Most of the time when this happens the new viewer is conflicting with your currently installed one.

Waht da dilly yo? got god mode?try uninstalling sl and when it says there are files left in folder and asks to delete, say yes. then download sl again

I got that error when I downloaded with Firefox. So, I tried Internet Explorer and it worked fine. Odd.

I tried all of the above and now I"m getting "the procedure entry point getdiskfreespsceA could not be located inthe dynamic link library kernel32.dll"
Can anyone help? Thanks
