In order to provide information of public works recently performed by The Artist's Guild I will begin publishing monthly reports of public works.

Those citizens wishing to engage in the creation of a public work please feel free to send me a proposal via notecard.

JULY Public works.

• Installation of a working tower clock.
on the intersection of Kendrastrasse and Ulrikastrasse.
The new towerclock is set for US Pacific time and chimes on the hour.

• Beginning of work on sewer system.
Currently entry points can be found in the The Artist Guild HQ in the blacksmith's
and beneath the new canal located by the Gasthaus in the Altenburg section of
the City.

• Design work on the MOCA has begun. This is currently being built offshore on spec.
Upon completion The RA and SC will be invited to approve or disapprove of the build
Upon approval it will be relocated to the Hill south of the Marktplatz.

This work is currently being done by donation of services of the Guild as a gift to Neualtenburg. Upon the occasion of Neualtenburg's eventual overcoming it's deficit, The Guild will announce it's proposal for Public Funding. Guild elections will not be held until such time that Neualtenburg goes in the black, though all citizens are welcome to join the Guild by submitting a proposal of apprenticeship (a build) to any Guild Member of "Meister" status.

If you believe yourself a member f te Guild already, but are unclear of your status within the Guild --please notify me via IM or see me In world. I am on most evenings between
6pm and 9pm PST.

Thanks! :) Unfortunatly, due to what appears to be an attempt by the recently elected RA, to curtail The creativity of The Guild, I as Gildemeister am calling on all Guild members to join me in a general strike.

No further work will be done by Die Gilde until further notice.

Ooh! I love strikes. I was going to call one if the constitution was tampered with. :D

Perhaps we should lobby our representatives to make the MoCA the last large public works that the city will run for profit (tickets and sales). If the structure is nice and the museum does well, we could always sell it later on down the line to a group, with the agreement that they leave the structure intact. It's just such a critical piece of architecture, I'd hate to see it designed by someone who is outside the Guild.

If it helps, I could even pay the Guild for the structure as a gift to the city! :)
