Wish to sell land, and open to suggestions

I'd like to sell some of my land in Neualtenburg, since I find I must lower my monthly RL expenses. I'm open to any suggestions some might have on the best way to establish a marketplace for land in Neualtenburg.

The lots for sale cannot be listed on the Land page of the website as "Available", since that would alter my monthly fee responsibility. Obviously, I must pay the monthly fee on any lot until I sell it.

I am selling my two houses in the City, on opposite sides of the far end of Urusulaweg. I am also selling the two large lots on the hilltop just outside the Altenburg gate, P260 and P270.

I'd be appreciative of any system that might be proposed to "list" this land. Obviously, having an efficient system for the sale of any land, whether it be City-owned or citizen-owned, benefits everyone and raises the value of our lots.

May I suggest a separate web page for property for sale whether by the city or by a citizen? As the city fills up, nburg will sooner or later have more land for sale by citizens than by the city itself. (If the land page is accurate 85% of all land in nburg is already owned)

Another thing we could do, is add another column to the land page (and land-data file) that states whether or not the land is for sale. That way we're not relying on the name field to indicate that the land is for sale. Also, you should be able to set the selling price (not the land-use fee) to whatever you'd like to help move the land.

Is it not possible to use the built-in SL features for advertising and selling land? I haven't looked into it so I really don't know.

Here's another suggestion. Hold a land auction event.

I modified the land services page to show which lots are for sale independent of the owner. That should do for now.

I was also thinking of pulling out the lots for sale and listing them all together at the top, as opposed to having them ordered by lot. Which way do you think would be better?

That would certainly help those searching for available land. Its my impression that thats what the page is mostly used for. But my impression may be colored by the fact that everyone buying comes to me for the transfer.

I was also thinking about breaking land up into types, such as prim lots and city lots. Eventually, we'll have to separate lots based on sims as well.
