I recently posted a poll to see what people think of Neaultenburg and how they can improve it. You can find the poll at: /120/97/38011/1.html---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also check out what the Second Life Herald said about Neaultenburg http://www.dragonscoveherald.com/blog/index.php?p=692

Eugene,
Useful data, even if only a few answered. To be honest, I dont think we should mention the Government part of the project in the general advertising. It causes too much spam as ppl start ranting about the evils of democracy.

I'm slowly rewording my own posts (see Pirate Cotton's blog) to put the focus on "organisation" instead of "government". Remember, all organisations embody some of the concepts of a "government" to a certain extent: 1) They have Charters (we have a Constitution). 2) They have Rules and proceedings (we call them Laws). 3) They have a Treasurer or a VP for F&A (and we have the Finance Committee). 4) They have a Board (well, we have the RA). 5) They have shareholders or partners or members with rights & duties (we have citizens). 6) They delegate/share their power with Directors in their own Departments/Divisions (we delegate them in the Guild, the SC, the many Committees...). and so on... While people may get scared with the g-word, they also understand that all sorts of legal entities have some need of being organised. So my focus now is on the organisation and the way people get a "structure" working, where anybody may participate. We call it "government" because Neualtenburg is a "city" (and not a "corporation"
