1. Neaultenburg should definitely offer wedding services, we have a beautiful chapel great for the service!.

2. Make one building the Neaultenburg Visitor Center. FAQ, Maps, History, merchandice, etc.

3. For apartment rentals, make a community building, where there would be lounge chairs, and comfortable furniture for the residents.

1. Heh. Sounds great, Eugene. I'm not a qualified minister, but I know one in-world. I'll contact him the next time I see him online.

2. I like that, the Tourism Office or something! It's somewhere deeply buried on the first threads about Neualtenburg! I even volunteered once to act as a Tourist Guide :) Ah, if I had the time... I will be a very happy person when I retire, the pile of projects to do when I'm 65 (or whatever the retiring age is nowadays, they keep changing it) has been growing since I was 15 :) Of course, in the mean time, we need some volunteers for that...

3. Hmm, yes. Right now, I've assembled people inside the cramped restaurant, with several complains, but I'm stubborn and generally ignored them :) After a few events, they grumble less and even make jokes about it. The restaurant was also an "informal" meeting place where I met some of the builders/scripters who started the project with Ulrika and Kendra.

For teaching classes, we have been using the unbuilt area near the Spital (outdoors). That place could be redesigned for the "community building". Of course, it only makes sense if you have a plan on what to do about it. I'm willing to use it for my events instead of the restaurant. Alternative: use the (empty) Museum.

Good news on point 1!

I've got in touch with Cid Jacobs who is more than willing to hold weddings (he's the reverend in RL I mentioned...), and he does not require any payment, just a few minutes of time in advance, lol.

In any case, he recommends that things should be set up with the bride & groom beforehand.

I can also set up a Shoutcast server if they want any music to be played at the church - but they'll have to send the music files by email to me.

So, Eugene, you're welcome to advertise the "renting" of the church for weddings. I'm not 100% sure if Cid is willing to give out his "credentials" as reverend to the bride and groom, if that's important to them, but it's fair to ask him :)
