As I've posted, I'd also like to discuss the possibility of the city (well, RA directing the Guild) to refurbish the Anzere infohub.

I guess someone needs to write a bill. Do we know what the application procedure with LL is?

I contacted Torley about it before posting. It's basically a matter of "ask to refurbish and support the hub, do it."

The voting is strictly to ensure that we want to commit to it, although I'm willing to do a fair bit of the work myself.

I'm pretty warm about such things. I'll say that myself. :)

Let me know how it goes.

I would also just like to ask the RA to pass a vote of confidence on Diderot Mirabeau's nomination as a new SC member (as per the SC's last meeting).

This will be the first RA meeting where all bills will go through the "auto-approval" of the SC, unless the RA wishes to codify that as a law as well (it's not strictly necessary, since the SC writes its own internal procedures).

Can I add a further point for discussion? The notion of "fair use" of the public space for hosting events. I give you a few examples. Aliasi wisely tends to host events in Neualtenburg on her own land; in my case, I often use public places (sometimes Altenburg places) because I don't own enough land on Neualtenburg for hosting events :) I think this should be clearer — who gives permission for that "fair use" — and a mechanism for providing fast "clearance" (in most cases I have less than 24 hours advance notice that I'll be able to give to post an event).

As an example: next Tuesday, there will be one of those "mixed-media events" in SL: a radio show with 4 guests (one of them a Linden), streamed into SL, people attending the event inside SL will be able to ask the guests questions, which will reply through the audio stream. This might (or might not) attract dozens of people, and while there is a "central space" (Sheep Island), there will be "repeater spaces", and I'd like to set one up in Neualtenburg on a public space. Since there is a conveniently scheduled RA meeting today, and I have ample notice on this particular case, I can ask formally the RA for permission to host that event in Neualtenburg and ask the RA to select a public space for that. But this is not often the case (ie. the RA does not meet every day, of course). How can we devise a system to allow people to host events with City permission that don't have much advance notice?

This might probably also fall into the "Marketing" bit of the announced discussion :)

The SC has endorsed [post=918539] Diderot's Road Map[/post] If there's time , we might discuss it. However, in any case, the NB needs to get up and running which will require input from the Guild.
