At it's meeting of 1 Fevruary, the RA:

Consented to the nomination of Flyingroc Chung to the Scientific Council

Passed, as amended, NL 4-1 The Guildhall Act

Passed, as amended, NL 4-2 The Marketplatz Zoning Act

I am confused by a couple of things, so I wanted to post to get some clarification.

1. In the above summary you state that two bills have passed. According to our Constitution, a majority yes vote is needed by the RA in order for a bill to pass. At last nights RA meeting, there were only 3 RA members present, and I was one of them. I did not vote yes or no on any proposals. That leaves only 2 RA members that could have voted Yes, but that is not enough to pass the proposals. I'm not stating that I would or would not have voted yes, but I firmly believe we need to follow our Constitutional procedures.

2. I received an IM for voting on who should be promoted to officer on in the RA "group". I know that due to the tech requirements of SL, we have to have group "leader", but all RA members should be officers of that group or simply members. If there is fear that someone would not leave the group after re-elections, then I would suggest putting the head of the SC as an officer and the RA council as members only. All RA members are on the same level as each other (no officers over anyone). The only difference the LRA has is in organizing the meetings and journals and keeping the meetings flowing.

Again, I'm seeking clarification because I am confused by these actions.

1. After you left, Kendra arrived, so we had a quorum on these issues.

2. I don't know about the RA group.

Ahh! Ok. I have not seen the transcript so was not aware Kendra made it after I left. Any idea when the transcript will be posted? I'd love to read what I missed.

And as for the RA question, hmm.. Anyone know who started that IM Vote?
