Morning,

I'm going to be running some scripting courses soon. I'd like to hold them in the city. Probably Sunday afternoons, possibly weekday afternoons.

Lance asked if the booking system was still required, as there was nothing to tax. Well there is in this case as my event is approved for Educational Support.

Let me know if there are any problems with the above.

That's wonderful, Catfart :) I found that the unbuilt area near the Spital (to the right of the main gate) has been suitable for classes, since it's the only spot in Neualtenburg that has some space left :)

Well, you can "manually pay taxes" by sending the 10% tax to our "virtual treasurer", Uma Bauhaus.

One think which we definitely need to address is an "ejector script" - organized griefer gangs have already disrupted one of my events. Since they only did it after the announced hour, I did not report them, but I surely have liked to "eject & ban" them. So, if some kind soul has an "ejector script" I'd appreciate it...

Good news Catfart! As a member of the Artisinal Collective I'm thrilled to see this. I'll conveniently set up a vendor near the meeting space. ;)

I hope to get in for a few hours this weekend to put in a new museum as well. I'm going to create some meeting space with a great view of the city in case we ever double book.

Sounds great, Catfart. What sort of scripting are you teaching? I may want to drop in and see if I can pick up any stray bits of coding wisdom as they float past.

I made one for LT once- I can whip up another one real quick, if ye want.

The Spital area is fine. Would it be possible to change the chairs around so they are facing the wall, I want to put up a slide screen.

The class is entitled "Create a pet flying dragon", and will be held over several weeks. I've set the first date as the 6th of Febuary, details in the Special events forum.

Oh, and you might be pleased to know I've found the errant fairy that was halfway between the city and the telehub whining that it couldnt find its home. It is now an ex fairy.

Noo! You're making Doom shotgun noises. My boyfriend in college applied a sound mod to his doom game that replaced the real shotgun noise with some guy saying "bang! shlick shlock." Given that the shotgun was his favorite weapon, I heard that phrase about a thousand times over the course of two weeks. :p

I had the same Doom mod. For some odd reason, I never got tired of some depraved geek saying "bang shick-shock" every time I blew away one of those violent pinky demons. It was charming, in its own twisted way. :)
