Biergarten Improvement Program

Have we decided what to do with the biergarten yet? If it's to be a casino or something else then I'll wait to see what happens. But if it's to remain a biergarten then I have a few suggestions. I was in it last night and here are my ideas:

1. My number one complaint is the inability to sit properly in the booths or chairs. Is fixing this simply a matter of adding prim scripts with llSitTarget? Being able to sit correctly would greatly improve the experience there, IMHO.

2. My second complaint is the hideous blue color of the booths and chairs inside. I know that Kendra has volunteered to redo the textures, and after wandering around the schloss last night I have 100% faith in her. She is amazing.

3. Althought the lite jazz is soothing, I think an establishment like the biergarten needs beer hall music.

4. Jagermeister. The place needs Jagermeister signage.

5. Being able to purchase a variety of animated drinks would be great.

6. It would also be a good alternative place to buy the N'burg steins. Also, maybe we could sell some cheesy little N'burg shotglasses too.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

As the RA has passed a bill saying the Guild may indeed improve existing city structures if said structure changes do not affect City Layout --I will indeed have the Guild take on improvements of the Biergarten AS a Biergarten.

I like your suggestions, Tai --and will try to implement as many suggestions from the citizenry as possible

No Casino in the biergarten. Our only current plans for the Biergarten is to throw a monthly Neualtenburg party there and get very drunk. Who wants to host October's party?

Hey, I am the builder of the Biergarten and I really like your suggestions (although hideous blue kinda hurts. ). I am no longer with the Neualtenburg group, but I do stop by once in a while and I hope to attend the Oktoberfest also. I have given Kendra my blessings in sprucing up the Biergarten. And if there is something y'all need me to do I will try to do it. I think I made coasters that are free to copy, and I might look for a Jagermeister poster to put up. Maybe a bottle of Jager can be put out with a shot beside it and someone check with Korner Kitchen for a "taking a shot" animation script like she does with Tequila. Or one of the animation folks (Ulrika???) can do this. It will be great for Oktoberfest and beyond. I'll look around for images if that is okay.

Hi Urusula! I've been wondering what happened to you. I've heard good things said about you and I was wondering if you were still around.

I apologize for the "hideous" comment. I should've chosen better words. I love your biergarten. It just needs a few fresh coats of paint.

I took a beer coaster last night! It's pretty cool. And I think a jager shot animation would be a lot of fun.

I'm still around, just not often. Must have been PenPen who said nice things about me. I gave her a Margarita once and she has stalked me ever since.

Truthfully, there isn't much to do as the structure is already fine and one I consider a landmark in Neualtenburg. Any work I do on it, will be more along the lines of some prim tweaking. adding drinks and food for sale, and bringing out some the things that I'm sure Urusula would have eventually gotten round to. I rather like the blue color of the seats, though I'll probably add a leather texture to them.
