This idea is a little eccentric,
N'Burg does actually look like a typical ski resort town. Also N'burg is situated on a hill, perfect for skiing, etc. N'burg will surely get a large amount of money, by renting/selling snow gear, and supplies. Also many people will visit N'Burg and will be able to shop for other goods as well. Making N'Burg into a fun, but cultural center.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Isnt there a Linden marked ski run near the bridge?

We're moving in two months, so while this is a good idea, it's a bit unrealistic.

Hmm, unrealistic...? There have always been "temporary things" in SL, so I'm not sure if a "ski resort" for 2-3 months is such a bad idea. I remember that the Oktoberfest, for instance, was an event which lasted only a few hours, but had tons of "preparation" - people doing animations, scripted objects, arranging music, a complete "decoration" of the Marktplatz, etc. All this for a single event which attracted lots of people and was excellent in terms of promotion (and item sales)! Eugene, what work and costs do you estimate for setting up a "ski resort"? How much time needs everything to be properly setup, how many people (and what kinds of people) have to be involved? If you have an idea of that, I feel that we should at least discuss it... And yes, Catfart, there is a Linden ski run near the bridge. I only saw it yesterday for the first time, I had no idea

I think it sounds like a great idea. The consensus of opinion seems to be that the new Neualtenburg be configured as closely as possible to the old. If the ski run setup works OK entirely with in the confines of Anzere, then it should be moveable to a new sim.
The the work we do on new businesses now only means that the new Neualt gets off to a better start after the move.
We're listening for volunteers?????
